Comanda Assistant is a point-of-sale and management app for restaurants, bars and pizzerias that runs entirely on an iPhone, iPad or Android device, with no PC and no local server. It handles table orders printed to thermal printers by station, a digital menu with QR code, the floor map of your venue, inventory, real-time sales analytics, electronic invoicing through Fatture in Cloud, and payments with CashMatic, Satispay, Stripe and SumUp. The Free plan never expires and allows up to 30 orders per day; paid plans start at €19.99 per month, and a complete setup usually costs under €500. Is Comanda Assistant really free?
Yes: the Free version is free forever, with a limit of 30 orders per day and some features reserved for paid plans. Perfect for trying the app at your venue, at your own pace.
Do I need a computer or a server?
No. All you need is a compatible smartphone or tablet (iOS 16+ or Android 11+) and an internet connection. All your data is safely stored in the cloud.
Which printers can I use?
Comanda Assistant prints on network thermal printers. You can connect several printers and route orders by station: kitchen, pizzeria, bar.
How does the digital menu work?
You generate a QR code from the app and place it on the tables: guests scan it and browse your always-up-to-date menu from their phone, with nothing to download.
How does the augmented-reality menu work?
The guest scans the QR code of your digital menu and, for the dishes you have chosen to publish in augmented reality, the plate comes to life on their smartphone. You decide which dishes get it. The augmented-reality view is available on iOS.
Can I use several devices at once?
Yes: multiple waiters can take orders at the same time from different devices, all synchronised in real time.
What is ComandaAI?
It is the AI built into the Premium plan: it analyses your sales and gives you concrete suggestions to increase revenue.
Can I issue electronic invoices?
Yes: thanks to the Fatture in Cloud integration you can issue electronic invoices straight from the app, starting from the sales it has already recorded, with nothing to re-type by hand (Premium plan).
Which payment systems does it integrate with?
CashMatic (with official certification for automatic cash handling), Satispay, Stripe and SumUp.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes: subscriptions are managed directly through the app stores and you can cancel at any time, with no penalties.
